Mexico 2009 Call for PapersThe International Association for Media and Communication Research invites paper proposals addressing various themes on Communication and Media Studies.

The 2009 Conference, which will be held at the Centro Cultural Universitario Tlatelolco-UNAM, between July 21-24, aims at bringing together scholars and researchers to present their works and exchange ideas under the general theme “Human Rights and Communication".

Abstracts submission

Abstracts can be submitted to the Coordinators of Sections and Working Groups. You may submit your abstract online through the conference website here.

Abstracts should have not more than 500 words.

IMPORTANT: You may submit the same abstract or paper to only one section or working group. You may submit different papers to different sections or working groups or, as the case may be, different papers to the same section. If the same paper is submitted to different sections or working groups, IAMCR and the local organisers of the conference will ensure that it is (if accepted) presented in only one session.

Deadlines

  1. Paper abstracts have to be submitted before February 16, 2009.
  2. Evaluation results will be announced by March 29, 2009.
  3. The deadline for submitting full papers is July 1, 2009.
