Cross-Media Promotion is the first book-length study of a defining feature of contemporary media, the promotion by media of their allied media interests.
The book explores the range of forms of cross-promotion including synergistic marketing of mega-brands; promotional plugs in news media; repurposing media content, stars and brands across other media and outlets; product placement, and the integration of media content and advertising.

Diversity of nationalities provides a diversity of solutions |

Walys Becerril was one of eleven young people from low-income countries to receive a scholarship to help defray the costs of attending and presenting a paper at IAMCR's 2010 conference in Braga, Portugal.
This was Walys' second time at an IAMCR conference – the first was in 2009 when she was one of the many volunteer students who contributed to the success of the conference in Mexico.
