In relation to this year's theme, 'Cities, Creativity and Connectivity', participants might want to consider the contribution of media education to:
Paper proposals should be one page long, and should list the author's name, address, university affiliations, telephone, fax, and e-mail, followed by the paper's title and an abstract of 500 words/1500 signs. The abstract should specify the subject, research questions asked, methodology and indicate some of the findings. The deadline for submission is February 18, 2011. Please note that this deadline will not be extended. Proposals will be peer reviewed and supervised by the scientific board of the Media Education Research section, that was created in Braga, last year, in order to improve the on-site quality of the contributions. Submission of abstracts is to be done online through the IAMCR's Open Conference System (OCS) using the link to be found on the official Istanbul conference website. Sections and Working Groups
The Media Education Research Section will be organizing panels at the 2011 IAMCR conference in Istanbul, Turkey. The section is interested in papers bearing on all the dimensions of media education research:
