Conference Accessibility

This is an accessible conference designed to support all IAMCR members in participating fully and growing professionally.

If you have specific accessibility needs—such as mobility assistance, visual or hearing support, sensory accommodations, dietary requirements related to allergies, or if you plan to bring assistance dogs or personal aids—please let us know at hospitality2025@iamcr.org. You are also welcome to bring a support person at no additional cost.

Sharing these details with us in advance will help us provide the best possible support and ensure a smooth, enjoyable conference experience. During the conference, information counters will be available at both the COHASS building and The Hive to assist with any on-site accessibility needs.

Conference Venue

All buildings at the conference venue comply with Singapore’s accessibility code.

While every effort has been made to ensure the venues are accessible, there may still be occasional limitations beyond our control. We appreciate your patience and understanding should any such issues arise.

  • The main conference venue, The Hive, is approximately 350 metres from the nearest bus stop (Bus 179) and has a dedicated drop-off point for taxis and private hire vehicles.
  • If you are using a transport app, such as Grab or Gojek, please indicate as your drop-off point “The Hive NTU”.
  • All buildings are equipped with lifts and staircases between floors, and we will be providing signages to indicate where the accessible pathways are.
  • Live captioning will be provided for all plenary sessions (not for parallel sessions).
  • A Sensory Room will be available for participants who may require a calm and quiet space. This will be located at WKWSCI Building Level 3, Halo Room. The room is open during Conference hours.

Opening Ceremony

Please note that the opening ceremony will feature performances that may include loud sounds. You are welcome to step out of the venue at any time if needed. You may also wish to bring your own earplugs for added comfort.

Transportation

If you’re travelling from your accommodation to the venue, please note that all public transport in Singapore—including trains and buses—is wheelchair accessible.

Major ride-hailing platforms such as Grab and Gojek, as well as taxi operators like ComfortDelGro, are also required to provide boot space and assistance for transporting mobility devices such as wheelchairs.

Other Access Needs

If there is anything that the conference team can help and/or support you with regards to accessibility, please feel free to get in touch at hospitality2025@iamcr.org.
