This post-conference event at IAMCR 2025 will explore the role of media and communication in rural development and African modernisation. It aims to foster critical discussions on community media, indigenous knowledge, digital innovation, and South-South cooperation, offering valuable insights for inclusive and sustainable growth in Africa. The event provides an opportunity for scholars, policymakers, and media professionals to engage with decolonised perspectives on Africa’s development.
