The recording of the webinar hosted on 13 December 2024 by the Communication Policy & Technology (CPT) Section and the National Institute of Science in Informational Disputes and Sovereignties (INCT DSI, Brazil) is now available. The session explored the complexities of digital sovereignty from a Global South perspective.

IAMCR condemns the abuse of the penal system in Azerbaijan for political purposes, and calls upon the Azeri government and upon the President, Ilham Aliyev, to immediately release all scholars, journalists and activists who exercise their freedom of expression and academic freedom and are prisoners for that reason.

IAMCR invites the submission of abstracts for its 2025 conference to be held in Singapore from 13 to 17 July 2025 hosted by the Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information at Nanyang Technological University. The theme of the conference is Communicating Environmental Justice: Many Voices, One Planet.
