Welcome from ARCO
President of Arco - Communication and Culture Association
Associação de Apoio à Arte e à Comunicação (ARCO) – Association for the Support of Art and Communication
It is our great pleasure to welcome you to the IAMCR 2027 Congress at the School of Communications and Arts of the University of São Paulo, one of Brazil’s leading academic institutions in the fields of Arts and Communication.
For ARCO – Associação de Apoio à Arte e Comunicação, supporting initiatives that foster knowledge, creativity, research, and meaningful exchange lies at the heart of our mission. Created to support ECA-USP across its teaching, research, and outreach activities, ARCO has long been committed to strengthening the connections between the university, professionals, and the broader fields of Arts and Communication.
São Paulo is a dynamic meeting place of cultures, ideas, artistic expressions, and communication practices. Its diversity and creative energy provide a particularly inspiring setting for scholars, professionals, students, and practitioners from different backgrounds to come together, exchange perspectives, and discuss the challenges and possibilities shaping our contemporary world.
We are delighted to invite you to experience ECA-USP, the vibrant academic community that surrounds it, and the cultural richness of São Paulo. We hope that the spirit of openness, dialogue, creativity, and collaboration that characterises both ARCO and the School of Communications and Arts will make the 2027 Congress a rewarding and memorable experience for everyone who joins us.
