A Visual Identity Proposal for the IAMCR 2027 Conference

The proposed Visual Identity for the IAMCR 2027 Conference emphasises, as its starting point, the host city of the event: São Paulo, the metropolis where the University of São Paulo is located.

Recognised as one of the main financial, corporate, and economic hubs in Latin America and as one of the largest urban agglomerations in the world, São Paulo naturally assumes a prominent role in shaping the identity of an international event held in the city. The grey featured in the visual proposal evokes the Paulistana urban landscape and the image of São Paulo as a “concrete city.”

The reference to the Conference manifests in graphic elements that, originating from São Paulo, extend in different directions. These lines suggest paths, connections, encounters, and possibilities—concepts that resonate with the international and plural nature of IAMCR and with the building of new knowledge and perspectives through the Conference.

Finally, the colors of these “paths,” contrasting with the grey of the metropolis's concrete, establish a direct chromatic relationship with IAMCR’s Visual Identity, visually bridging the host city with the institutional identity of the Association.
