What if I need to cancel my registration?

Can my partner attend the conference?
Yes, your partner or guest can attend the conference sessions by registering for the whole conference. If they only want to attend the welcome reception and conference dinner guest tickets can be purchased as part of the registration process.
Are session-only or single-day registrations available?
No, only full conference registrations are available.
What payment methods are accepted for registration fees?
You can pay with a credit card or bank transfer (additional fees apply).
Is there a group discount?
No, there are no group discounts.

Do I need travel insurance?
Participants are advised to obtain adequate travel insurance.

Do I need to have a paper accepted to attend the conference?
No, you can participate without being a presenter. The number of presentations is limited by space, but there are no limitations on attendance. The same registration costs apply.
Do both authors of a paper need to register for the conference, or is one registration enough?
Each person attending the conference must register individually. This means that if a paper has multiple authors and more than one of them will be attending the conference, each attending author must complete their own registration.
Can I apply for a travel grant?
The deadline to apply for travel grants was 18 March. IAMCR travel grants are generally available only for individuals who had been members in previous years. Members who joined in 2024 were not eligible for these grants.
