My submission was accepted for Lyon23, can I/must I participate in OCP23 too?
Papers were accepted for OCP23 only or for Lyon23 and OCP23. If your paper was accepted for Lyon23, then it should also be submitted to OCP23.
Do I have to submit a paper to participate in Lyon23 and OCP23?
Yes, if your abstract was accepted you are expected to submit a paper to be included in the Lyon23 and OCP23 programme.
All Lyon23 and OCP23 papers will be included in OCP23, which will open online on 26 June. They must be submitted by 5 June to be included in the Lyon23 and OCP23 programme. The submission site will open on 15 May at https://iamcr.org/lyon2023/submit-paper
All IAMCR members, whether or not they have a paper accepted for Lyon23 and OCP23 will be able to access the papers, presentations, and online discussions of OCP23.
How do I confirm that I will submit my paper and make my presentation in Lyon23?
By registering for Lyon23, you are also confirming that you will submit and present.
Don't forget, you must complete your registration for Lyon23 by 10 May 2023.
I submitted my abstract to Lyon23 and OCP23 and it was converted to OCP23 only. Can I still present at Lyon?
If your abstract was originally submitted for presentation in Lyon and was converted to OCP only, you may request to be on the waiting list to receive an invitation if additional space becomes available or if invited authors do not accept their invitations using the form at https://iamcr.org/lyon2023/waitlist.
One of my abstracts was accepted for Lyon23 and OCP23 and another converted to OCP23 only. Can I present both in Lyon?
It may be possible to present both. The status of the converted one will need to first be changed to accepted for Lyon23 and OCP23. To request that the abstract be converted back to Lyon23 and OCP23, complete the form at https://iamcr.org/lyon2023/convert
Can we add presenting authors to our abstract accepted for presentation in Lyon?
No. Only authors identified as presenting authors at the time the abstract was submitted will be able to register for and attend the conference.
My abstract was accepted for presentation at Lyon23 but I will not be able to attend the conference. Can I have my abstract converted to OCP23 only or withdraw it?
Yes. Complete this form to convert your paper to OCP23 only or withdraw it.
My abstract was accepted for presentation in Lyon but I haven't received an invitation to register for the conference.
1. Check your spam/junk mail folders of the email address you registered with in Ex Ordo to see if the invitation to register ended up there.
2. If your abstract has more than one author, only those identified as presenting authors at the time the abstract was submitted were invited to register and attend the conference in Lyon. See the presenting author(s) of your abstract by logging into Ex Ordo via https://iamcr2023.exordo.com/login.
Co-authors who were not initially identified as presenting authors cannot have their status changed.
