The Lyon city card is a pass that includes entrance to specific museums, unlimited use of public transportation within Lyon, and depending on the offer, certain guided visits.
24-hour card: 26.90€ and includes unlimited public transportation (bus, metro, tram, funicular), entrance to Musée des Confluences, a river cruise on the Saône river, and a guided visit of the Croix-Rousse neighborhood.
48-hour card: 35.90€ and includes everything in the 24-hour version as well as entrance to the Cinema Museum and Miniature and Mini World Lyon.
72-hour card: 44.90€ and includes everything mentioned above, with access to 22 museums and discounts for certain shows (Guignol, the opera, etc.)
96-hour card: 53.90€ and includes everything mentioned above.
Buying tickets
Purchasing of the cards is available on the city card website. To buy a ticket, you must create an account and pay online using a credit card.
For each pass, there are different pricing options: adult including a round-trip Rhônexpress ticket, student (must show a valid student card), junior (4-15 years old), and reduced rate (must be in possession of a disability card or under 18 years old).
In order to receive your card, you have two options. If located in Metropolitan France, you may choose to have your card shipped to your home address, for a fee of 3.50€. For those living abroad, the shipping charges are 6.50€. 3-5 business days are needed when shipping within France and 5-10 business days when shipping abroad.
If you prefer to pick up in person, discounted and student cards may be purchased online and picked up at the Tourist Office at Place Bellecour or the Part-Dieu mall, in showing your valid student card or other required documentation.
