Description
The Recovering journalism: disinformation and post-truth, especially in relation to electoral processes pre-conference seeks to analyse current risks threatening the exercise of journalism, especially those related to the impact of digital media, which have altered traditional information schemes, where information was mostly transmitted in one direction under certain quality standards, which are now being altered. These issues will be addressed from a multidisciplinary (journalism studies, ethics, and the law) and international (European and Iberoamerican) perspectives. From this standpoint, the pre-conference will critically analyse the current challenges of journalism, while providing a reflection on possible solutions to reclaim journalism.

IAMCR 2023. Preconference FIEDI. Recuperemos el periodismo: desinformación y posverdad. Especial referencia a los procesos electorales.
La preconferencia tiene por objeto analizar los actuales riesgos que están amenazando la profesión periodística, como consecuencia del impacto de los medios digitales que han alterado el tradicional esquema unidireccional de transmisión de información, así como los principios básicos del periodismo de calidad. Se abordará desde una perspectiva multidisciplinar -periodística, ética y jurídica- e internacional -europea e iberoamericana-, en donde se analizarán críticamente los problemas de la profesión periodística en la actualidad, y se reflexionará sobre ciertas soluciones que puedan ayudar a recuperar el periodismo.
