Special Session - Teaching Journalism Today

Description

This session presents the results of the first global survey of journalism educators and their views on the future of the profession. The speakers will discuss journalism teachers’ views in relation to surveys of journalists and journalism students. Hosted by the World Journalism Education Council (WJEC) and UNESCO, the session will launch the WJEC survey report as well as two new UNESCO resources for journalism educators: The handbooks 'Teaching Journalism Online' and 'Reporting on Artificial Intelligence'.
