Description
UNESCO’s latest draft of its Guidelines follows its February global conference. This latest version draws upon a side event by IAMCR, as well as studies by Research ICT Africa plus the Centre for Law and Democracy. Dozens of consultation sessions are taking place worldwide to assess pitfalls and promises. The final outcome document in September will feed into wider UN processes. This session will cover these issues and canvass ideas for uptake and adaptation.
