Terms and Conditions
By submitting your registration, you certify that you are at least 18 years old, have truthfully completed the registration form, and are in agreement with the Refund Policy, Data Protection Policy and the Terms and Conditions of IAMCR 2019.
Registration can only be done by completing the Registration Form. For changes or cancellations contact madrid2019@iamcr.org.
All fees are quoted in Euros (EUR), all bank transfer fees/charges are the responsibility of the delegate. Participants are responsible for ensuring that their details in the registration form and amounts charged are correct. No registration can be confirmed until payment is received in full.
The organisers reserve the right to alter any of the programme or other arrangements for this conference, including cancellation or postponement of the event, should unforeseen circumstances require it. The organisers accept no responsibility for resulting costs or inconvenience to participants in this case. Participants are required to have their own travel health insurance and are responsible for all travel arrangements including visa applications if required.
All transactions carried out on iamcr.org/madrid2019 are secure. Financial transactions take place on the website of RedSys, the POS (Point of Sale) of Santander Bank in Spain. They are made in a secure environment using a server based on the standard security technology SSL (Secure Socked Layer). All the information provided travels encrypted through the network. Your credit card data is not input or recorded on the IAMCR website and neither IAMCR nor the conference organisers have access to it.
Refund Policy
If, after registering, you are unable to attend IAMCR, contact us as soon as possible at madrid2019@iamcr.org. We will consider your reasons for cancelling and we will refund some or all of your conference fees according to the guidelines below.
- Up to 31 days before the conference we will issue a full refund on conference fees less a fee to cover banking and administrative charges
- 15 - 30 days before the conference we will issue a 50% refund on conference fees
- We are unable to process any refund within 14 days of the conference inauguration
Please note that reimbursements can take between 7 to 10 days to be processed by IAMCR 2019, and longer to appear on your credit card statement or account, depending on your method of payment and financial institution.
Privacy Policy
The participant agrees for their details (name, affiliation, contact information) to be included in the list of conference participants for official use by the conference organisers. You will receive regular communication by email of IAMCR 2019 conference updates. Should you wish to opt out of receiving these updates, or of having your details in the list of participants, please contact membership@iamcr.org
During the course of IAMCR 2019, live webcasts, videos or photos may be taken of participants attending sessions and events. By attending IAMCR 2019, the participant accepts that these photos, or any audio or video recordings of herself/himself, may be used in conference related publications or webpages for future IAMCR conferences, with no time or territorial limitations and without financial compensation.
Data Protection Policy
According to the European Regulation for the Personal Data Protection (GDPR UE 2016/679) and the L.O. 3/2018, of December 5, on Personal Data Protection and guarantee of digital rights, IAMCR informs that personal data of users through this website will be included and processed in a file owned by Fundación General de la Universidad Complutense and Fundación Comunica and will be managed exclusively for the purpose described in each form.
IAMCR commits that personal data requested are strictly necessary to perform the service demanded by the user. You will be informed of the requirements to provide certain information, without which it would be not possible to carry out the service.
