The Legal Committee of IAMCR has long experience as the main legal advisor of the association, helping to enforce safely its rules and practices.
Its Chair and members are appointed by the International Council, but the Legal Committee works for all the bodies of IAMCR, being often consulted by the Executive Board and the President but sometimes even by "plain" members.
Of course, the Legal Committee also gives advice and guidance whenever a change of statutes is needed and can explain the concrete application of IAMCR Statutes.
