Associate Professor Nozima F. Muratova has been the head of Research and Innovation at the University of Journalism and Mass Communications of Uzbekistan since 2019. She co-founded the Media Research and Educational Development Centre (NGO). She earned her PhD in Journalism and Mass Communication from the National University of Uzbekistan in 2011.
Apart from her IAMCR membership and ambassadorship, she is a member of the National Association of Mass Media Researchers (NAMMI) and the Women Scientists Association. She participated in several training activities in Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Germany, Russia, China, South Korea, and Belarus. She speaks Uzbek, Russian and English.
Her primary motivation to become an IAMCR Faculty Ambassador in Uzbekistan is to contribute to expanding the opportunities for cooperation between the scientific community of Uzbekistan and Central Asia with international media communities and researchers.
