IAMCR's Executive Board, with the approval of the International Council, established a Clearinghouse for Public Statements in July 2015. The Clearinghouse mission is to help with responding to and making public statements. Statements will be guided by, and restricted to, the IAMCR remit; they will focus on media/communication issues and reflect IAMCR's critical position.
Read the IAMCR Clearinghouse Mandate and Working Procedures.
Any paid up member of IAMCR may request the Clearinghouse to consider whether a public statement should be made by endorsing a statement of others or by distributing a statement of its own.
Requests should be sent to clearinghouse [at] iamcr.org. Please read the Clearinghouse Mandate and Working Procedures before making a request.
We expect this Clearinghouse initiative to enable IAMCR to influence debate on a range of issues relevant to our remit in a visible way.
