On 20 April 2026, the Inclusive Communication and People with Disabilities Working Group hosted an Early Career Symposium on Disability Studies and Inclusive Communication, designed to foster collaboration, dialogue, and networking among emerging scholars. Watch the recording here.
On 24 April, 2026 the Comic Art Working Group hosted a roundtable on how comic art is used to frame political issues across contexts, from activism to public policy.

7 September, 2026 - The Communication, Social Justice and Democracy (CJD) Working Group will hold a joint conference with ECREA as a pre-conference to ECREA 2026 in Prague, under the title "Communicating narratives, imaginaries and epistemes of hope".
